Carnegie Hall Link Up Virtual Concert

Wednesday, June 10, 2020

This year, the third grade students participated in the Carnegie Hall Link Up program as our third graders do every year. But due to Covid-19, our third graders did not get the amazing opportunity to travel to Carnegie Hall for the culminating concert.

However, we were able to have a lively viewing party of the online concert! It was so wonderful to see and hear everyone. Thank you to the third grade teachers and Mr. Muniz for attending this virtual concert with the students.

District 20 Steam Fair

Spring, 2020

The District 20 Annual Steam Fair was scheduled for April 1 but was cancelled due to Covid-19. Ms. Lauriat and Ms. Mone's SEM group had worked hard for this exciting event!

This video celebrates not only our students, but students from across District 20 as they come together, virtually, to engage in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math!

Keep Kids Learning!

Thursday, May 28, 2020

We were very excited to be able to support our students with school supplies thanks to a grant from Donors Choose called the Keep Kids Learning Initiative. Learn more about that grant by clicking the link below.

On this particular Thursday, teachers Mrs. Lauriat, Ms. O'Rourke, and Mrs. Bradley joined Principal Mr. Muñiz and Assistant Principal Mr. Vallaro to hand out these much appreciated goody bags.

Additional teachers at our school have also been awarded this same grant and we look forward to additional drop-offs of supplies. We will do everything we can to #KeepKidsLearning!

The 5-426 team put together a mobile bookstore for students in their class. Students were able to select books and games to help them balance their online and offline learning.

Fantastic Teamwork!

Music Cafe

Monday, April 13, 2020

The annual Music Cafe is a favorite Relay for Life fundraiser sponsored by the band every year. This year's cafe was scheduled right when the Covid-19 pandameic hit and remote learning began. Undeterred, the band hosted their event virtually!

While never as good as performing live, our PS 200 musicians and artists still enjoyed coming together in fellowship to support each other and our school's Relay team. Click the link below to hear their performances!
